Purpose for processing your data
- We collect personal data in order to be able to communicate with our customers by way of phone, letter and email
- We will require our customers name/s, company name, contact person/s name/s, address, email and contact numbers. We will potentially require your company or personal home drawings in order to provide you with a quote for works.
- Our collection of data is in order to provide you with a quotation for any works you require pricing for
Why are we processing your data? Our legal basis
- All documentation for a job is sent to our company secretary via email and are saved to the clients designated sub folder for future job pricing. Any paper documentation submitted to our office will be scanned and saved to the client’s subfolder. Original paper files are kept in a secure locked filing cabinet, which is secured in a locked office building and saved with client’s name.
- Leinster Electrical is committed to adhering to GDPR regulations.
- Any personal paper data or any computer-generated data obtained in order for us to carry out any electrical installation will be securely stored and retained for six years as part of our data retention company policy. After this time any paper documentation will be shredded and computer files will be deleted.
- Any computer-generated documentation is stored on an encrypted and password protected computer, which is only accessible by our company secretary and director.
In order for us to provide you with a quotation, Leinster Electrical Contracts Limited, will need to collect personal data for the purpose of providing you with a quotation for works.
